Demonstrators of Jewish Voice for Peace block the western entrance of the Manhattan Bridge for several hours, calling for a long-lasting cease-fire in Gaza. The group held a similar action, a sit-in, in Grand Central Terminal at rush hour in October.

On the occasion of the International Day against Violence Against Women, and on the initiative of 'Mirabal Belgium' (a group of several civil society associations) a new National Demonstration to fight against violence against women was held in the Belgium capital. Thousands of people marched to send a strong signal on this day for the elimination of violence against women and make a call to civil society (associations and citizens) to express their rejection of 'machismo' violence.

As Israel and Hamas 4-day truce entered a second day, thousands of Israeli citizens gathered and rallied in Tel Aviv to pay solidarity and demand the release of the remaining hostages held by Hamas in the Gaza Strip on 25 November. Officials claimed there were 100,000 attendees. The deal agreed on a release of around 50 Israeli hostages out of about 240, in exchange of around 150 Palestinian prisoners.

Palestine Action occupy the roof of Italian arms industry giant Leonardo at their in their factory in Southampton and shuts them down. Leonardo supply Israel with fighter jets and weaponry that are currently being used in Gaza. Palestine Action demands that arms companies providing weapons for Israel shut down permanently. They have announced that companies selling weapons to the Israeli Defence Force and their partner companies will be targeted with direct action. These actions are intended to highlight the plight of Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank but also disrupt the manufacturing in those businesses. Palestine Action has declared they will not stop their actions until the arms industry stops supporting Israel.

Friday, Nov. 17, 2023. Israeli forces killed the three men in an overnight raid, the Palestinian Health Ministry said Friday. The military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad group claimed the three, including local commander Jamal Lahlouh, 23, as members.

Just before the Dutch general elections (Nov 22nd), around 85.000 of people took the streets of Amsterdam to demand that the Dutch government take action to tackle the climate crisis. The march is organized by the Dutch Climate Crisis Coalition, which is a collaboration between eleven different organizations and groups. The demonstration counted with the presence of Swedish climate activist, Greta Thunberg.
