Massive flooding has occurred in villages along the Dnipro River after the destruction of the Kakhovka Dam, inundating communities along the river in the south, and dangerously dropping water levels in the communities in the north. Kakhovka Dam is in the Russian-controlled area of southern Ukraine. According to media reports, Ukraine's military and Nato have accused Russia of blowing up the dam, while Russia has blamed Ukraine.
