  • Authorities investigate a crash in Queens which left four people dead. Four people were killed and one person is in stable condition in a crash on the Cross Island Parkway in Queens. New Year's Day, at approximately 5:50 AM in a section of the parkway called "dead man's curve", two cars collided on the curve from the northbound Cross Island Parkway to the southbound Whitestone Expressway. Four people were pronounced dead at the scene. The fifth injured person is in stable condition.
