Trump, a group of students began to surround him, and the mood of the group surround him changed from amusement and mockery, to a more threatening tone of derision and disgust, and that's when members of the IU police department moved in to peacefully defuse the disturbance. Earlier in the day police had been called to the scene after a confrontation involving at least one person, and the preachers, and police discussed in scanner traffic detaining the couple, and moving them to another location to talk to them.
