The Tank Museum's Tiger Day is a biannually event at Bovington camp showcasing German Tiger 131, the only operational Tiger I tank in the world, it also features other World War II-era tanks including M4A2E8 Sherman Fury, M3 Grant and the British Churchill tank. The event included a reenactment of the Battle of Capture the Tiger, demonstrating how the Tiger 131 was captured on 24th April 1943 in Tunisia by 42nd Battalion Royal Armoured Corps and 2nd Sherwood Foresters.
