"Scarlet Sails" is an annual graduation celebration held at the end of June. The event marks the end of the school stage of life for young people and symbolizes the beginning of a new life path. The central event of the celebration is a grand show on the Neva with illuminated buildings, musical performances and fireworks the culmination of which is the appearance of a sailboat with scarlet sails. "Scarlet Sails" has acquired the status of one of the largest and most significant cultural events in the city attracting the attention of both residents and guests.
