Ukrainians continue to participate in the 'Free Azov' rallies in support of the captured defenders of Mariupol, which regularly take place in Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities. 46th anniversary of the U.S. Embassy takeover in Tehran, Iran

A rally commemorating former Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, who was assassinated for signing the Oslo Accords with the Palestinians in an effort to achieve peace. More than 150,000 people attended the rally calling for peace and for the replacement of the government. The second was the weekly demonstration at the Hostages Square where large crowds gathered to demand the return of all the bodies of the hostages held by Hamas as part of a deal to end the war.

An apartment block in Kyiv caught fire after being struck by debris during a large-scale Russian drone and missile attack. The assault, part of a nationwide strike targeting Ukraine’s critical energy infrastructure, caused widespread power outages and water supply disruptions. At least twelve people were injured in the capital as Ukraine’s air force reported that the barrage included ballistic, hypersonic, and other missile types, along with numerous drones.

After the big rally organised to protest against the World Football Qualifiers match Italy Vs Israel, many clashed with police. Hostages released from captivity in Gaza by Hamas in Tel Aviv, Israel

Pro-Palestinian demonstrators gathered to march through the streets from the De Gaulle roundabout to the Israeli Embassy. Despite the fragile ceasefire, the protesters express their anger at the two-year genocide of the Palestinian people and demand justice.

Israelis attended the weekly demonstration calling for the release of 48 Israeli hostages that still remain in Hamas captivity in Gaza for over 2 years. This time focus was thanking US president Trump and his team for reaching an agreement that will end the war and bring all hostages home. Among the speakers were Steve Witkoff, the US Special Envoy to the Middle East; Jared Kushner, former Senior Advisor to the US president and also the President's son-in-law; and Ivanka Trump, former Advisor to the President of the US and the President's daughter. The crowd thanks the President of the US Donald Trump, Witkoff, Kushner and Ivanka Trump with singing, cheering and applause.

Hopes for the peace deal are now paramount. But community relationships around the world from divergent opinions will take time to heal. Since October the 7th 2023, the subsequent war in Gaza anti war and pro Palestine protests have taken place. Predominantly the protests have been Pro Palestine but have regularly included members of the Jewish community including Jewish Voice for Labour and Jewish Action for Palestine.
