American Ballet Theatre Fall Gala in New York, USA

Formula drift closes out the 2025 drift season on the streets with a new road course after the inevitable closing of Irwindale speedway. Jack Shannahan was able to come out on top of competition for the event and James Deane driver was able to secure first place overall making him the 2025 formula drift champion.

Hundreds of people gathered in Sunbury's Cameron Park for a No Kings protest against the Donald Trump administration and its policies. The protest was one of more the 2,500 scheduled to take place across the United States.

Protesters gathered in downtown San Diego, California, to take part in the nationwide “No Kings” demonstrations. Marching from Civic Center Plaza to Waterfront Park, participants voiced opposition to government authoritarianism and recent federal policies under President Donald Trump. The protest, one of hundreds held across the United States, featured banners, chants, and performances calling for democracy, equality, and freedom of expression. The event remained peaceful, drawing a diverse and energetic crowd throughout the afternoon.

At the Waal Crossing Memorial, a solemn ceremony took place to commemorate the heroic crossing of the Waal River by American soldiers of the 82nd Airborne Division, during the Operation Market Garden, now 81 years ago. The ceremony counted on the presence of paratroopers from the 82nd Airborne Division of the USA and war veterans. Although Operation Market Garden was unsuccessful, the Americans and British were able to liberate Nijmegen, the Netherlands’ oldest city, after fierce fighting.
