On Saturday the 7th of March, children took part in a Hobby Horse jumping competition at the Blue City mall in the Ochota district. Participants took part in a number of competitions throughout the day including competing for the Blue City cup.
To mark International Women’s day, girls and women from rural and tribal communities compete in a nationwide athletics league under the ASMITA (Achieving Sports Milestone by Inspiring Women through Action) initiative. The district-level event supported by the East Singhbhum District Sports Association provides a grassroots platform for amateur female athletes of all ages to showcase their talent in track events.
