Later he was led away to a police car after preaching about religion, criticizing students, and talking about politics to a group of students Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at Indiana University in Bloomington, Ind. Smock's wife, Cynthia D. "Cindy" Lasseter, was also taken to a separate police car. The couple were cited for trespassing, and asked to leave. The preachers had been preaching to students near Woodburn Hall for several hours, and spoke to students in descriptive terms about sexuality, religion, and other subjects.
