A 32-year-old man later identified as Jaceil Banks was shot to the chest and pronounced dead, a 30-year-old man was shot to the back and was originally listed in critical condition, a 17-year-old girl identified by family as Anthonaya Campbell was shot to the back of the head and was originally listed in critical condition, a 29-year-old woman was shot to the back and is listed in stable condition and a 42-year-old man was shot to the arm and is listed in stable condition. Weapons were found at the scene. The New York City Police Department is investigating the shooting.
11 people were arrested in a massive marijuana bust in the Bronx. New York City Deputy Mayor for Public Safety Kaz Daughtry says officials recovered more than $5 million worth of illegal cannabis products from a home located at 522 Timpson Place. An illegal cannabis business was operating out of the home. 11 people, ranging in ages from 22 to 65 years old were arrested and officials seized about 2,000 pounds of cannabis products, $20,000 in cash and an illegal firearm.
