The protest followed the death of a settler from the nearby settlement of Yitzhar in a car-ramming attack in the city of Hadera. Jewish settlers gathered, blocked Palestinian roads, assaulted residents, and threw stones at Palestinian vehicles, resulting in a Palestinian girl being shot by settlers south of Nablus.
