Pope Leo XIV participated in the feast of the Madonna del Lago and, at the end of Holy Mass, He accompanied the Marian statue in the traditional procession to the waters of Lake Albano. The Pontiff will board the motor vessel with the Madonna del Lago, crossing the lake accompanied by numerous vessels. This is the first time in history that a Pope has traveled by boat along the Madonna del Lago procession. An event of strong religious and symbolic value that unites the community of Castel Gandolfo, the Marian tradition, and the presence of the Pontiff in the Castelli Romani village.
