Despite the last-minute ban on the Free Iran Rally, Organizers said more than 50,000 Iranians from around the world gathered at Place Vauban to condemn the regime's escalating wave of executions and express their support for Mrs. Maryam Rajavi's Ten-Point Plan for a democratic republic in Iran. French police prevented numerous buses carrying participants from reaching the rally site, while many attendees were turned back upon arrival at Charles de Gaulle Airport; several demonstrators were injured during police interventions and taken to the hospital for treatment.
