The Peaceful Russia party was founded by Russian opposition politicians, anti-war activists, former municipal deputies, human rights advocates and members of the Russian diaspora living in exile. During its founding delegates adopted the party’s charter and manifesto, elected governing bodies and discussed the organization’s future political strategy.
According to its founders, the party aims to represent anti-war Russians, support democratic initiatives and advocate for a peaceful, democratic and law-based future for Russia. The organization also seeks to maintain political engagement with Russian civil society and strengthen cooperation among Russian democratic communities abroad.
