A protest in support of Palestine was held in Ljubljana after the newly formed government and its right-wing prime minister Janez Jansa removed the Palestinian flag that hung on the main government building in support. The move came with a sharp turn in Slovenian foreign policy, closer ties with Israel, and the alleged interference in the parliamentary elections by the Izraeli company Black Cube.
