Clashes broke out between Palestinian farmers and Jewish settlers who attempted to set fire to the crops. The Israeli army fired tear gas to disperse the clashes in the plains of Salem village, east of Nablus in the West Bank. Israeli firefighters are working to extinguish the fires, while Palestinian firefighters are preventing them from approaching the area.
