Campaign group Fossil Free London held a protest outside Shell’s headquarters in central London on 6th May 2026, just before the company announced its quarterly profits. Two activists stood beside a mock fossil fuel pump marked “Oil Profit$$$ for Oil Boss$$es,” while others, dressed as corporate executives, poured red liquid—symbolising blood—over a further two activists dressed in white. The demonstrators also carried fake money, and banners which read: “Shell Profits Blood Money.”
