Demonstrators took part in the annual May Day march organised by trade unions across Paris, marking International Workers’ Day with rallies and processions through the city. Protesters gathered to advocate for labour rights, wages and social protections, as police intervene to disperse sections of the crowd using tear gas and charging protesters during the clashes along the route.
