Spain has begun an extraordinary process of regularizing immigrants that allows them to obtain residence and work permits for one year, with applications open until June 30, 2026.
Approximately 23,000 people in Hospitalet de Llobregat are awaiting the regularization of their immigration status, and the city council has set up a municipal complex to assist those who come to the Citizen Service Office and thus expedite the process.
