The far-right Spanish political party Vox set up an information tent in the Vallecas neighborhood of Madrid, a historically left-leaning area inhabited by a large number of immigrants from diverse backgrounds.
Numerous National Police officers prevented non-residents from accessing the square where the information tent was set up, but counter-demonstrations were organized in the surrounding area to condemn the event, which they considered xenophobic and racist.
