The Shaden Dance Company from Palestine performed its dance piece titled “Feathers” at the 11th Amed International Theater Festival, organized by the Diyarbakir Metropolitan Municipality and the Amed City Theater in the city of Diyarbakir, Turkey. The dance play, written and directed by Shaden Abu Elasal, features Anan Abu Jaber, Maria (Masha) Seman, Haya Khourieh, and Sameha Abbas. The play explores how power shapes our identity, influences our perceptions of beauty and goodness, and drives a person from love to hatred.
