A meeting with prominent Belarusian human rights defender and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Ales Bialiatski took place in Vilnius. Bialiatski was sentenced in Minsk to ten years in prison and spent about 4.5 years behind bars before being released in December 2025 as part of a deal between the Lukashenko government and the United States.
