The famous Kurdish epic Morasin (Morashin) is being staged by the Diyarbakir Metropolitan Municipality City Theatre in Turkey. The epic was adapted for the stage and directed by the famous Iranian theater director and screenwriter Dr. Ghotbedin Sadeghi in Kurdish. The play, featuring nearly 50 theater artists, will premiere at the 11th Amed International Theater Festival, organized by the Diyarbakir Metropolitan Municipality between April 22 and May 2. The play tells the epic story of two lovers separated by poverty and war.
