On the afternoon of Sunday, the 19th of April, several thousand Polish conservative Christians gather at Castle Square in Warsaw for the National March for Life, the annual manifestation promoting pro-life, anti-LGBTQ views as well as Catholic family values. Organisers claim this to be the largest demonstration in defence of life in Poland, and one of the largest pro-life demonstrations in Europe. The march made a stop at the Presidential Palace, where President of the Republic of Poland, Karol Nawrocki, greeted those on the march and spoke to the media.
