Defend Our Juries Supporters hold signs In Support Of Palestine Action in London by Martin Pope / SOPA Images
Following the ruling by a panel of judges at the judicial review reporting earlier this year that found the government’s proscription of pro-Palestinian direct action group Palestine Action as unlawful over 500 supporters of Defend Our Juries sat in Trafalgar Square holding signs saying, "I oppose genocide. I support Palestine Action”. The government are due to appeal the ruling and until that has reached a conclusion support for Palestine Action is still technically against the law. Despite the police originally announcing they were not going to arrest activists anymore for holding the controversial sign they have changed their minds and arrested everyone showing signs supporting the banned group.
