Good Friday processions through the streets of Madrid's historic center. Up to five brotherhoods processed through the heart of the Spanish capital on the evening of Good Friday, including the Divine Captive, Jesus of Nazareth of Medinaceli, the Holy Christ of the Halberdiers, Our Lady of Sorrows, and the Holy Burial. As has become customary in recent years, all the processions passed through the Puerta del Sol square, where thousands of local faithful and tourists gathered.
