Iranian expatriates, members of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), and families of victims of both the Shah’s regime and the clerical regime gathered for a Persian New Year (Nowruz) ceremony in the presence of Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the NCRI, marking the beginning of the year 1405. The ceremony highlights calls for the establishment of a democratic republic in Iran based on popular sovereignty, rejecting both monarchical and clerical dictatorship, and emphasizing peace, freedom, justice, gender equality, and a non-nuclear Iran. The event pays tribute to martyrs and political prisoners while underscoring the continued struggle of the Iranian Resistance and reaffirming the NCRI’s Ten-Point Plan as a roadmap toward a free Iran built through the will and vote of its people.
