Iranian residents gathered in front of the Iranian Embassy in Madrid on the eve of "Red Wednesday" (known as Chaharshanbe Suri in Persian culture or linked to the Newroz celebrations in Kurdistan), an ancient festival marking the last Wednesday before the spring equinox and the New Year (Nowruz).
They also demanded an end to the theocratic regime of the Ayatollahs and expressed their support for the military incursions against their country by the US and Israel.
