Protesters gathered outside the Palace of Westminster during a demonstration calling for the protection of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and opposing what organizers describe as ongoing violations and restrictions at the sacred site by Israel. Demonstrators waved Palestinian flags and held placards calling for the safeguarding of religious access to the mosque, one of Islam’s holiest places.
