Queer Pride parade in New Delhi, India - 08 Feb 2025 by Pradeep Gaur / SOPA Images
The Queer Pride Parade brought together members of the LGBTQIA+ community and their allies celebrating identity, love and diversity through a vibrant public march. The parade moved from Barakhamba Road to Jantar Mantar in support of equality, inclusion, and human rights. Usually this parade is organized on the last Sunday of November but due to the Red Fort blast last year, the date was shifted. The event reflected the growing visibility of the queer community and served as a peaceful yet powerful expression of pride, solidarity and the ongoing demand for social acceptance and legal equality.
