Jewish settlers establish solitary farms along the borders of the State of Israel and in the West Bank territories of Judea and Samaria and along the border in the Jordan valley. The farms, based on raising sheep and livestock, exist in minimal and very basic conditions without electricity, water and food infrastructure, and are run by a small number of people assisted by young volunteers.
