In a press conference held simultaneously in several cities across Turkey, including Diyarbakir, the Kurdish Peace Mothers demanded that the Turkish government open the Mursitpinar border crossing to allow humanitarian aid trucks to pass through to Kobani in Syria. Protests against Turkey's refusal to open the border gate and allow aid trucks were also held in Istanbul, Izmir, Mardin, Van, Mersin, Adana, Batman, Siirt and Urfa provinces.
