Nirmala Sitharaman, Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs, Government of India presented the annual Union Budget 2026-27 in Lok Sabha on 1st February announcing higher infrastructure spending, measures supporting domestic manufacturing amidst rising global uncertainities. no direct tax cuts on personal income as government had raised income tax limits exemption last year.
