Today is International Holocaust Remembrance Day and events have taken place all over Berlin to mark the event.
Wreaths have been laid in many parts of the city and lie in snow due to the bad weather. They commemorate the suffering of Jews in the war and the freeing of Auschwitz by the Russians.
