On the afternoon of Sunday 25th of January, pro-Palestinian and anti-genocide demonstrators gathered at the Presidential Palace in Warsaw to mark the 2nd anniversary of the Israeli murder of five-year-old Hind Rajab. After speeches, protesters marched behind a bullet-ridden Kia Picanto to the American embassy, then on to the Parliament of the Republic of Poland. On the 29th of January 2024, after her family's car was fired upon by Israeli forces while fleeing, Hind Rajab survived for hours in her father's Kia Picanto, calling for help while trapped with deceased relatives. She was subsequently killed alongside paramedics attempting to rescue her.
