The Portuguese capital hosted a new day of social mobilization in solidarity with the Kurdish people and the Rojava region, joining a wave of protests sweeping across major European capitals. Organized by Portuguese social platforms such as the Plataforma de Solidariedade com os Povos do Curdistão (Platform for Solidarity with the Peoples of Kurdistan) and civil society groups, the rally and subsequent march aimed to denounce the recent escalation of violence and military attacks by Syrian forces against Kurdish communities in the north of the country.
