A karate tournament in memory of fallen soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces -Hero of Ukraine Oleksandr Svyshch (call sign Farsh) and Artem Orlyanskyi (call sign Tornado), was held in Odessa at the Arena Sport sports complex. The goal was to honor the memory of the fallen and foster patriotic feelings in the younger generation. Oleksandr Svyshch (call sign Farsh) was a Ukrainian serviceman, a soldier in the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and a Hero of Ukraine (2024, posthumously). He died near Bakhmut. A street in Odessa was renamed in his honor. Artem Orlyanskyi (call sign "Tornado"), a Ukrainian serviceman, served in the 95th Airborne Assault Brigade in a special reconnaissance unit. He was killed while carrying out a combat mission in the Khrvkva Oblast.
