Over Saturday night, January 24, Ukraine came under another massive combined attack as the enemy launched over a hundred kamikaze drones and missiles from strategic aircraft. In Kyiv’s Holosiivskyi district, the Roshen confectionery factory was hit. A drone strike damaged the building's top floor, tearing a hole in the roof, shattering windows with the blast wave, and damaging the signature signage on the facade. Both production facilities and office spaces sustained damage. Tragically, a 48-year-old woman was killed in the attack, and two others were injured. The Kyiv confectionery factory is one of the city’s oldest enterprises, founded in 1874. Today, Roshen is ranked among the top 30 largest confectionery producers globally and remains a market leader in Eastern Europe.
