The French President Emmanuel Macron received the President of the Democratic Republic of Congo Félix Tshisekedi at the Elysee Presidential Palace, in Paris, France. Following on from the conference in support of peace and prosperity in the Great Lakes region held in Paris on 30 October, the two leaders will discuss the situation in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), which remains a cause for serious concern.
