The Syrian army launched a comprehensive operation in the YPG/SDG-occupied neighbourhoods of Sheikh Maksud and Ashrafiya in Aleppo, removing the organisation's elements from the area and establishing complete control. In response, YPG-supporting groups staged protests in Ankara.
