A protest was held in Manchester, UK against perceived U.S. military aggression in Venezuela, following the recent capture of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro. Groups including the Cuba Solidarity Campaign and the Stop the War Coalition, condemned the U.S. actions as an "act of war" and a violation of international law. Protesters gathered in sub zeros temperatures to listen to anti war speeches. Venezuelan flags and anti trump placards condemning the attack were held by protesters outside the Central library in St Peter's Square.
