Protesters Demand Justice For Hunger Striker in Wakefield by Martin Pope / SOPA Images
Protesters gathered outside HMP New Hall where Heba Muraisi is being held on remand after being arrested in November 2024 for alleged offences relating to Palestine Action. Her protest continues in jail by way of a hunger strike where she has been refusing food for 62 days. Heba demands a return to HMP Bronzefield to be nearer her family and friends. Along with three other hunger strikers she is also demanding a fair trial, an end to all censorship, immediate bail, the de-proscription of Palestine Action, and the closure of Israeli arms manufacturer Elbit Systems' UK sites.
