The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning due to low temperatures as snow blankets parts of Surrey. Snowfall of up to 5cm is anticipated across Southern England and some areas of Wales. Although initial warnings were expected to end by Saturday, the Met Office has extended alerts through Monday.
