Ewell St. Mary’s Morris Men Boxing Day Tour in Ewell by James Willoughby / SOPA Images
Members of the Ewell St. Marys Morris Men took part in the annual Boxing Day Tour of Ewell Village. The tradition of touring local pubs and performing traditional English Morris Dances was first held in the early 1980s, and except for the COVID lockdown years, has been held every Boxing Day since. At 1200, after local roads were closed the Morris Men performed dances outside the Green Man Public House in-front of several hundred spectators, before continuing to several other pubs in the local area.
