Hundreds of pro-Palestinian supporters held an emergency rally outside the Ministry of Justice calling on the Justice Secretary David Lammy to recognize the demands of 8 Palestine Action hunger strikers. These comprise a third of the Filton 24 who are currently in remand awaiting trial for breakins at the UK subsidiary of Elbit Systems, arms supplier to Israel. Some of the hunger strikers are now past their 50th day of hunger strike and are entering the critical life-threatening stage.
