Extinction Rebellion Oil Slickers staged a symbolic performance protest in Whitehall moving in formation and stopping at Parliament Square, the Ministry of Defence, and 55 Tufton Street to highlight what they describe as government failure to meet climate commitments. They carried banners reading “Tell the Truth”, “A Better World Is Possible” and “1.5°C Is Dead”.
