Protesters held a vigil outside Shell Centre in London to mark the anniversary of Typhoon Odette, which killed hundreds of people and destroyed more than a million homes in the Philippines. Organized by a coalition including Greenpeace Philippines, the Philippines Movement for Climate Justice, the International Coalition for Human Rights in the Philippines, Uplift, and Fossil Free London, the demonstration brought together activists and visitors from the Philippines to demand accountability from Shell and stand in solidarity with communities most affected by the climate crisis.
