On the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, people gathered to raise the flags for "Orange the World"—a global campaign to support women and girls. During "Orange the World," the United Nations' global campaign for women, in more than 100 countries, buildings and other objects are illuminated in orange. Additionally, debates, exhibitions, demonstrations, and various other activities are organized.
