The 'Caminata del Silencio' (“Silent Walk”) is held every 24 November since 2016 on the eve of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. Participants march in complete silence through the city center carrying candles, banners and the names of women who have been killed as a result of gender-based violence.
The walk serves as a public call for action, demanding stronger protection measures, social awareness, and institutional commitment to end violence against women.
