The altar remains adorned with flowers and Francoist flags, on the 50th anniversary of the death of the Spanish dictator Francisco Franco, whose remains rest in the Mingorrubio cemetery in El Pardo, Madrid. Franco died on November 20, 1975, at the age of 82, after ruling Spain for almost forty years.
