After hanging a banner from Westminster Bridge which supported the terrorist organisation 'Palestine Action', activists were detained and arrested by the Metropolitan Police. Since July 2025, being a member or showing support for Palestine Action would result in arrest and prosecution under the terrorism act 2000.
